My son and I have both worn the Fleche shoe for over a year now and are pleased with it, probably closer to a year and a half. We fence weekly and an occasional tournament. The cushioning is very good and it helped relieve my knee problems after lunges or jumps when we started wearing them. We fence on a metal strip and the sole has held up well to the abuse. The outer sole has started coming unglued from the upper layers on the inside of our shoes, both left and right, so I believe this may be due to age rather than an initial quality problem. The toe box is large, they're well ventilated to prevent heat build up and discomfort. I've noticed that my foot slides forward in them a bit more recently, but I believe this is due to just getting worn out with time and use. I consider them a good value for the money paid and would recommend them. (Posted on 6/10/2015)
